ABOUT US! San DIego Locations is the collaboration of two of the top Location Managers in San Diego. Both women began their careers in 1994 working on episodic television shows, when filming in San DIego was in it’s early stages. Throughout the years, co-owners Heather Salter and Lisa Rothmuller have worked on every type of film , special event and photo project in this region. Heather Salter - Owner. Heather is a Location Scout and Manager Specializing in film and video production. Heather earned a BA in FIlm and Television production and has followed that with over 15 years of experience in the field. In addition to all of her years in the locations arena, she has spent the past three years as the Associate Producer filming Best Western Commercials in cities throughout North America. She has vast knowledge and resources when it comes to hiring crews in cities all across the US and Canada. Some of her other credits include many years as a Field Producer for ESPN's X Games, Associate Producer for Speed Skating at the Winter Olympics Games in Salt Lake, Location Manager and Production Manager for commercials with clients such as SDG & E, Johnson and Johnson, Taylor Made, Ford, Toyota and the list goes on. Lisa Rothmuller - Co-Owner. Lisa’s career began as a special event planner for Enjoy California Enterprises in San Diego after completing her degree at University of California, Santa Barbara. Several years into her career in Event Planning, she was offered the opportunity to bring her skill-set over to the Television Industry. This grew into a 15 years career as a professional Location Scout and Manager for television, feature films commercials and still photo shoots. Although she is a native San Diegan, Lisa has travelled and lived in several countries, including France, Switzerland, and Mexico. Her eye and knowledge of locations is only surpassed by her relationships with San Diego officials, business owners and homeowners. Lisa will work tirelessly to make sure that every detail has been taken care of, from the smallest to the largest. Her television and motion picture clients include 20th Century Fox, ABC Television, Universal Television, Beacon Pictures, Investigation Discovery Channel, Warner Brothers Network to name a few. Still clients include Nike, Target, Wintersilks, Sure Electronics and Jacuzzi Spas.
